Fundamentals
The Association of Latin-American immigrants (Olim) in Israel is a non-profit organization. Its members gathered on a voluntary basis in order to assist in the absorption process of Latin-American immigrants from the moment of their arrival into the country.
The organization represents the Israeli citizens of Latin-American origin towards the different institutions in charge of their absorption in Israel. Therefore, its representatives are responsible for the negotiations regarding the absorption conditions of these immigrants with the Jewish Agency, the Ministry of Absorption and the Immigration and Absorption Committee of the Knesset.
The influence of this association is highly significant, mostly thanks to the enormous experience accumulated along the years in subjects of immigration and absorption.
